Your first step to Invisalign Comprehensive Training start here. This is a 2 day course taking place ONLINE.
The dates for the course are 17th and 18th March 2022 with a course fee at about **50% discount especially for Dentex at £1700
Once you are officially registered to a Dentex Invisalign Comprehensive course date you will have some PRE course training to complete in advance:
1) Compulsory Online Modules – Once registered, you will receive your individual login credentials for Invisalign Doctor Site (IDS) 2-4 working days later. With this, you will need to log on to your portal at vip.invisalign.com where you will find your online pre-course modules.
**• There are six modules: *** SAFE Orthodontics Introducing the Invisalign System
2) Compulsory minimum 3 ClinChecks – You are required to have a minimum of 3 patients who are interested in having Invisalign treatment and for whom you have begun developing cases for in IDS ready for discussion on your certification course prior to fully submitting them if suitable.
Please Note in order to get registered to the course you must ensure that you will have a minimum of 3 cases ready before the course training day:
• We require you take their records (impressions/scans, photos and prescription) and ship them off to us. You will then receive back a ClinCheck, which is Invisalign’s own 3D animated treatment plan – a short video showing you each aligner and each stage. We require you to have a minimum of 3 ClinChecks ready for the course day as you will get trained and mentored through them with the Clinical team during the Clinical workshop session.
• It is advised that you begin to have conversations about Invisalign with Patients in the once you are confirmed for the course and have completed your modules to generate that interest in the practice, asking your patient how they would rate their smile out of 10 is always a good conversation starter.
• The first step towards getting your patient to ClinCheck stage would be to download the Invisalign Photo Uploader and take 9 intraoral photos of your Patient. You will then export these photos and upload them on to your IDS account under the patient’s profile.
• Once registered to the course you will receive your Invisalign Starter Box. This will contain marketing materials to aid in promoting yourself as an Invisalign provider. If you do not have an iTero in practice, your Invisalign Starter Box will also contain sets of Invisalign-specific impression trays to complete your compulsory minimum of 3 ClinChecks before your course. (Please note that if are taking analogue impressions, all impressions must be taken with the Invisalign impression trays to ensure accuracy and the impression material should be PVS – heavy and light bodied. You will then need to complete and submit the prescription form under the patient’s profile on IDS, print it off and place in the shipment box along with the impressions.
